Relaunching My Site

I’ve had www.ZachCalvert.com disabled for a few years since joining McKesson. I resigned from McKesson in August 2026 with my last day being September 15th, 2026. During this transition period, I completed a handoff and delivered training material for my colleagues including the company uses for Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, Docker, and Grafana. I prepared targeted documentation regarding our in-house built custom GitHub Applications as well as GitHub Action data pipelines feeding content into Azure Databricks and Power BI.

After engaging with over 3,000 active engineers, including leading a team of over 400 contractors spanning 3 continents managing IT assets for a $90B (yes Billion USD) revenue stream, I needed to take a step back and catch my breath.

Since resigning I have managed to improve my sleep, lose over 20 pounds (9 kg), am nearly finished writing my book Designing, Modeling, and Securing RESTful APIs, and tackle a mountain of home projects that I have left untouched for the last year.

After a month off, I’m back at the engineering, now focused on training up on front-end development, cloud assets, and latest DevOps efforts including AI management.
